I earned my B.A. in Biology with a minor in Physical Education from University of Montana in 2003. I earned my M.S. in Science Education from Oregon State University in 2013. From 2003-2013, I coached Basketball, Football, and Track on all levels including Head Basketball Coach from 2007-2013. I am currently the North Coast Coordinator for the STEM hub that services the Oregon Coast. I currently teach Code, STEM, and Physics at Warrenton High School.  I started the ROV(Remotely Operated Vehicle) club at Warrenton High School last year and it has doubled in size since.  I have been fortunate to write a couple of grants to help bring technologies such as 3D printers, drones, ROVs and other tools that our students had not been exposed to in their lives.  I am passionate about bringing new experiences to my students in the form of project based learning.

My classroom website is where you can find all the information about my classes, resources, assignments, calendars, etc. The website address is
