WHSD Schools Closed on Thursday Feb. 13th Due to Ice/Snow Forecast

Warrior Community:

After consulting with regional and county school district leaders, we have made the difficult decision to also cancel school today due to the forecasted arrival of ice and snow later this morning. While morning travel may have been possible, the near certainty of hazardous road conditions later in the day makes it very unlikely it would be safe to transport students and to have staff drive home.

We understand the frustration of yet another closure, especially following last week’s disruptions. However, student and staff safety must remain our top priority. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this unpredictable winter weather.
