Volunteering in the WHSD
We welcome volunteers and appreciate the time you are willing to give our students!
Due to state law and insurance requirements, and to ensure the safety of our students and staff, all volunteers and contractors must complete the volunteer background check process, even those who are volunteering or working through a secondary organization.
Each of our schools offers unique opportunities for volunteers to make a difference for kids. To get started, simply contact the school where you would like to volunteer to discuss your interests and the volunteer opportunities available.
Our Schools:
- Warrenton Grade School: 503-861-3376
- Warrenton Middle School: 971-445-4500
- Warrenton High School: 503-861-3317
The contact for the background check process is Andrea Holmstedt at [email protected] or call 503-861-2281.
ALL VOLUNTEERS must first complete an application and background check to create a profile in the district-wide Volunteer Management System. (a.k.a. Help Counter).
Please allow up to two weeks for the process to be completed.
